201 stainless steel coils are often used to make kitchenware and equipment. 201 is a medium carbon steel with low carbon and high chromium, which makes it resistant to rust.
The main components of 201 are chromium and manganese. The alloy has high tensile strength and has little effect on the hardness of the final product. It also has good wear resistance, making it ideal for use in high-wear parts.
201 Stainless Steel is a low carbon, austenitic chromium nickel manganese type stainless steel that can be used at temperatures up to 1300°F (700°C). As long as sufficient oxygen is present, it will not form when heated above this temperature Hard spots or cracks. EASY TO WORK: 201 Stainless Steel is easy to work and has good malleability and can be used in a variety of forming processes.
